Chocolate Covered Strawberries for Breakfast, PERFECT!

If you are a chocolate lover (and who isn’t), you will die over this smoothie concoction. It’s very simple actually, but I am not even joking when I tell you it is like having chocolate covered strawberries for breakfast. I guess you could have actual chocolate covered strawberries for breakfast and it would only be half as bad since half of it is a great anti oxidant filled fruit, but then again, if you truly are wanting to cut out the high sugars found in sweetened chocolate, this is the way to go! Oh, and if you happen to have some over ripe strawberries that got shoved to the back of your fridge definitely make this smoothie with them! The redder the better! Okay, don't hang out here.  Grab a good blender. Mine is the Ninja Professional 1500 Watts, but it doesn't actually have to be a jet engine. The ingredients list is short, but the flavor is long and enduring Kids!

If you do not stock cocoa nibs in your pantry yet. Stop. Grab your keys, and head to the store, or just get on Amazon like I did.  Unsweetened cocoa nibs are my new romance story!

So, toss into your blender:
1 cup (about) strawberries
1 small banana
1/3 (or a big dallap) plain greek yogurt
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons cocoa nibs
3 ice cubes

That is it! Hit blend and watch the magic happen!

As my picture depicts, I can rarely help myself to not add nibs and a berry on top.  I love crunching on those whole nibs at the end of my smoothie. I'll place my bet on you topping yours off too.

Enjoy Y'all!
