3 Ingredients to Homemade Sourdough Starter: Flour, Water, Patience- DAY 2

After twelve hours there was no real change in the mixture. I took
a picture but since it basically looked the same as when I first mixed it, I ditched the pic and decided to wait until morning. See, patience is already needed.  Much to my surprise, early morning on day two bubbles are already forming! Yay!  I think it is worth noting that I put my jar in my office closet because my office is the warmest room in the house since I have a small space heater under my desk.  It supplements the blanket across my lap. *wink

Here is Day Two before I stirred it and added another 4 ounces of water and 4 ounces of flour.
This is exciting! I can't wait until tomorrow now! Did I tell you it is the "patience" you have to have most of? haha
I'll check it again this evening.  If it has changed much I will post, if not, stay tuned for Day 3.

NOTE: If you are reading Day 2 and want to begin a sourdough starter, click on tab for Day 1 of 3 Ingredients to Homemade sourdough Starter: Flour, Water, Patience. I will be updating each day until it is sourdough bread baking day!
