Roasted Garlic

Roasted Garlic is the easiest thing ever to do! And because it is so easy and so much cheaper than buying roasted garlic in the market, you really have no excuse to not have this little gem ready and waiting in your fridge at all times.

How to ROAST GARLIC:


  • Buy a nice head of fresh jumbo garlic. It's typically sold by the pound, but still really cheap.
  • Remove the outer paper like skin, but not the inner skin that surrounds each garlic lobe. 
  • With a sharp knife, cut the tips off the garlic, like in my picture above.
  • Drizzle a high quality extra virgin olive oil over garlic. No need to drench.
  • Wrap in heavy duty aluminum foil and place in baking pan.
  • Roast on 425 for about 35-45 minutes or until garlic is soft. 
  • Once cooled pop out of pods and store in airtight container in fridge.
